STEP 1 - Use the following Question to understand your participant's understanding of Gospel essentials. Give them 15 minutes for this activity.
Imagine this:
You are in an airplane… airplane gonna crash in 25 minutes… the stranger sitting next to you calmly ask you: “I think this would be a good time for me to reconsider the claims of Christianity. Can you tell me what I need to know to make it to heaven?”
List down the gospel essentials that you will say to him in sequence, before you lead him in the sinner’s prayer. You may use more or less than 10 points.
STEP 2 - After your participants are done with the activity, check to see if their gospel sharing essentials covers the core basic that introduces Jesus as the only Saviour of the world, whose work at the cross rescues us from the punishment that we deserve for the sins that we commit.
STEP 3 - At this point, ask the participants if their gospel sharing also:
STEP 4 - Then begin to explain that today, we shall be learning a gospel sharing tool that takes less than 10 minutes to share and only requires a pencil and a blank piece of paper and best of all, it covers all the questions listed in Step 3 without compromising on the core gospel message mentioned in Step 2.
STEP 5 - But before teaching the LOVE PROJECT gospel sharing tool, we need to build up the foundation behind the tool, which is how the Bible defines love. Help your participants grasp the Biblical understanding of love through this next activity:
Building FOUNDATION:
As the foundation of this gospel sharing method is “Love”, it is absolutely crucial for us to have a thoroughly Biblical understanding of love to begin with.
Read Ephesians 5:22-33.
1) Who is Paul giving instructions to?
2) Why should wives be subject to their own husbands?
3) In what areas should wives be subject to their own husbands?
4) How are husbands expected to fulfill Paul’s instruction to love their wives?
5) How then are wives expected to respond?
6) So Biblically, how should husbands and wives show love to each other?
* Husbands / Christ – In Authority – P________________
* Wives / Church – Under Authority – S____________ or O_________
7) Do you think this formula for love works for any other relationships?

STEP 6 - Now is the time to begin guiding your participants to learn to share the gospel using the LOVE PROJECT gospel sharing method. First of all, ensure that they each have a pencil and access to blank sheets of paper. For ease of learning, the dialogue has been divided into 3 parts. Demonstrate to your participants part by part using a white board with markers. After every part, get the participants to pair up and narrate to each other and make sure they are familiar with that part before moving on to the next part. At the end of the workshop, each participant should be able to present all 3 parts at once to their partners. At the end of the class, pick one or two participants to share the gospel via the white board to everyone. Do encourage them to use their own words, there is no need to repeat the words verbatim. If this is a cell group or youth fellowship that meets regularly once a week, roster the participants and carve out 15 minutes each week by beginning the meeting with gospel sharing via the whiteboard. This is a skill that you need to keep at it, so that you will be ready whenever the need to share the gospel arises!

- provide a basic Christian worldview? – how did this world come about?

PART 1
Dear friend, as we journey through life, there will always be questions that pops up in our mind like: what is the meaning of life? Or why are there so much suffering and evil on this earth? Or what is the purpose of my existence? Have you ever thought about these questions? Can I just take 10 minutes of your time to explain to you how the Bible offers solid answers to these questions? Let me begin by asking you: If you can use just one word to describe the meaning of life, what word would you use? … …
Well for me, I’d say that word is LOVE…
DRAW [ 1 ]
… Let me start by defining for you what love is:
I extracted this definition of love from Ephesians chapter 5...
DRAW [ 2 ]
... which is how the Bible describes the love between a husband and wife.
And the Bible assigns to the husband the role of being the head of the household, so in the marriage relationship, the husband is the one in authority, while the wife is the one under authority.
DRAW [ 3 ]
Based on Eph 5, the way in which the one in authority express love to the one under authority is by providing; providing protection, providing food, providing shelter and so on; basically, to see to the needs of the wife. While the manner in which the one under authority show love to the one in authority is by submitting or by obeying.
DRAW [ 4 ]
And at this point, I would also like to point out that the very essence, the very foundation of love is: freedom – freedom to choose to love or choose not to love.
DRAW [ 5 ]
For example, a husband has a real choice to provide for his wife or he can choose to gamble away his money and choose not to provide for his wife. He can choose to love or not love. But if somebody force him to provide for his wife, then that is no longer love since it is not done out of a freedom of choice.
And actually, this love relationship is the same for parents and children. Children show love to their parents by choosing to obey them while parents show love to their kids by choosing to provide for them.
So with this definition of love in mind, let’s talk about God...
PART 2
… So with this definition of love in mind, let’s talk about God.
DRAW [ 6 ]
First of all there is just one God who made this world we live in.
DRAW [ 7 ]
And this one God made the very first man and woman – Adam and Eve.
DRAW [ 8 ]
So the question is: why make us? Why make Mankind?
Well, that’s because, God is Love. The Bible says that God is Love! And it is no surprise that God, being Love, wants to embark on a LOVE PROJECT!
DRAW [ 9 ]
Mankind is created because God wants to create people that He can love, and is also capable of loving Him back!
And like I said, the essence of love, is: FREEDOM! <point to “Freedom”>
So God created Adam & Eve and gave them the gift of freewill.
Now God could have easily choose to make a world full of robots that will obey Him and do only good things. But that is not the kind of world that God decided to make. God is Love, so God chose to make a world founded on Love. So for Love to be Love, He has to give freewill to Mankind.
But if God gave Adam and Eve free choice, but didn’t give them any option to disobey Him, then again, that wouldn’t count as love – remember the manner in which the one under authority show love to the one in authority is by obedience?
So in order for Adam and Eve to be able to love God back, they must possess a very real option to obey or disobey God.
So God gave them the option to obey or disobey Him by planting a tree.
DRAW [ 10 ]
So God planted a tree and told them that they can eat from all the trees around them except this one – just to give them an opportunity to show love and obedience to Him.
But unfortunately, Adam & Eve, they disobeyed God; they ate from the tree, and as a consequence, the earth is cursed…
DRAW [ 11 ]
And that is why we are in such a huge mess today…
…the first people on earth voluntarily, out of their own freewill, chose to disobey God. And this initial act of disobedience is called the original sin.
And the original sin is passed down to all of us, giving us sinful desires; influencing us to do evil.
So down through history, we find human beings exercising their freewill, to disobey God and do evil in this already cursed world. No wonder we are in such a big mess today!
And the ultimate consequence of doing evil is hell.
DRAW [ 12 ]
So the bad news is: all of us are going to hell because we are all evil doers who have inherited the original sin…
PART 3
… So the bad news is: all of us are going to hell because we are all evil doers who have inherited the original sin.
But do you remember that God is Love? And the essence of love is freedom of choice!
So God loves us, and God freely (nobody force God); God, the One with all authority; He now freely, and voluntarily chose to PROVIDE <point to “Provide”> a way of escape for us. And God provided this way of escape by suffering the hell that you deserve, so that you can make it to heaven. And He did that in the Person of Jesus Christ.
DRAW [ 13 ]
2000 years ago, God Himself, came in the Person of Jesus Christ, and He lived a perfectly good life. He went about healing the sick, raising the dead, casting out demons and defending the weak. Jesus lived in perfect obedience unto God.
But eventually, when Jesus was in His thirties, He went to the cross.
DRAW [ 14 ]
And what happened at the cross?
At the cross, Jesus took all your badness…
DRAW [ 15 ]
… and suffered the hell that you deserve. And not only that, He gave you all His goodness…
DRAW [ 16 ]
So now you can enter heaven through the goodness of Jesus Christ.
And then on the 3rd day, Jesus rose from the dead, having victory over death and He is now alive forevermore and He now invites you to come and be His follower.
So now the question is: will you exercise your freedom of choice, to voluntarily come to God and say yes to Jesus; to say yes to all that Jesus has done for you at the cross. Remember the essence of Love is freedom. If God program everyone to say yes to Jesus, then the essence of Love is violated and God can say goodbye to His Love project. So you must voluntarily make the choice to say yes to Jesus. Nobody can make this choice for you except you yourself.
So will you agree to be part of God’s Love project? Will you agree to be one of those who will love God back?
Jesus loves you so much, that He is willing to die the most violent and cruel death on the cross just so He can rescue you. He voluntarily did all these for you. Will you now respond to His love by voluntarily making the decision to become a follower of Jesus?
If that is the desire of your heart, you may follow me in this prayer to Jesus; please close your eyes and repeat after me:
Dear Lord Jesus,
Thank you for loving me
Thank you for dying on the cross for me.
I believe that at the cross, You took all my disobedience upon Yourself.
And You were punished for all my disobedience.
And in exchange, You gave me your goodness.
And now I can enter heaven through Your goodness.
I receive all that You have done for me at the cross.
Please send your Holy Spirit into my life right now,
To help me, to be Your follower,
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
